    Home from France,tired and hungry – still,Morrisons 330 is on our route. All foods easily accessible and then the usual friendly banter from till lady,Sharan Abercrombie, once she’s assured that we can pack ourselves.Then the repartee covering holidays ,weather and our need for coupons. Brief and to the point, but an excellent indication of staff/customer interaction.

  • I visit Morrison’s in Chesterfield weekly.This morning I was dismayed to see that several checkouts had become self service.They were being very little used customers preferring to queue at checkouts manned by human beings.Has no one at head office thought to ask which type of service we- especially the older generation – prefer?No doubt this is a cost and therefore a staff cutting exercise!!I have been a loyal customer since Morrisons came to Chesterfield.If the service deteorates I will have to look elsewhere to do my weekly shop.I live near Matlock and there are supermarkets there that are much easier access for me.

    I went shopping with my wife this morning,as you know its quite stressful for us males,but when we got to the check out the young chap was very amicable and made my stress level drop considerably,so came away feeling good,well done Morrisons staff Liskeard .

  • Generally I enjoy shopping in Morrisons and enjoy a lot of Morrisons own label products.
    If I had one complaint of late it is the change to the More Card. On 2 separate occassions I have not received my £5 vouchers and have had to contact Morrisons to sort it out. Granted they sorted it out immediately, but I never had problems under the old Match & More Card.
    It’s not a good feeling saying you haven’t had your voucher but your points have gone off your card as it must look dodgy ( I would think it was!) when the points go off the card.
    To be perfectly fair to Morrisons they have never suggested I was trying to defraud them (which I would never do anyway!) and reloaded my card with the missing points so that I can get the voucher on my next visit. However, as I previously stated this has only been a problem since the More card came into force.

  • I do my weekly shop at the Hatch End branch and am generally pleased with the experience and find the staff pleasant and helpful, however I do have one or two suggestions to make regarding shopping for one person. It would be helpful to be able to buy 4 eggs and not 6 (these are available elsewhere but I would prefer not to have to go to a separate shop for them). You also have stopped supplying spreads such as Flora Proactive in 250g containers (again buying 500g is too much at one go). Lastly the new way of displaying bananas looks very tidy but you cannot see at a glance if they are small or large and again if only requiring a few small ones you can spend a lot of time looking for them.

    I shop at morrisons several times a week (my favourate) supermarket. I have bought
    strawberries 2 or 3 times a week usually ok, todays which was use by 31 july was soft and mushy and nowhere near sweet,and at £1-82p I was very disappointed. they were Yorkshire, grower makins. everything else was fine as usual, as I said “my
    favourite supermarket”.

    shopped at Blaydon Tyne and Wear. Couldn’t find where the hair products were so asked an assistant who very kindly took me to the place and actually helped me find the brand I wished to buy. She also helped me to find the jellies which I had been trying to locate for quite a while!!

    Her name is SUSAN CAIRNS – she is a health and beauty assistant. Polite, caring and sooo helpful. Also helped me to put the purchases through the self-service till. Something that I am nervous doing on my own. Wish to commend her – she is a really good, organised very pleasant, helpful assistant. Thank you Susan!

  • I have been sent to Morrisons Letchworth (126) by my bank because funnily enough they don’t deal with small change. Mary Gates at the Customer Service counter was fabulous- she took my receipt from the money counting machine and furthermore immediately agreed to help me count my remaining change and exchanged it for notes. She was smiley, calm and friendly all the way although there was a queue of people waiting. What an asset to Morrisons!

  • Visited Morrisons at Meadowhead, Sheffield on 26 August 2016. Made purchases, all very acceptable and good value, and sought a paytill. The operator, Janet Dennell, 229, was closing but opened again for me, seeing that I was rather old. She could not have been nicer or more helpful. We left the store with a good feeling.

    I regulary shop at morrisons because I live not far away from our store in Evesham Worcestershire, I find that all the staff are polite and vwery helpful while my husba nd was a live he was in a wheelchair nothing was too much trouble for them the products are far better than Tesco and Marks and Sparks, I feel comfortable with them as I am very fussy about vegetables and they do meals just right, Thanks a bundle Morrisons I shall be true forever.

  • we shop at your Crediton store mostly and recently have found that you no longer stock Rachels yoghurt and for the last two weeks the store has not yet got Coxes English apples but these two products are available at your Tiverton store.
    When I asked a member of staff why this was I was told that because that the bigger tiverton
    store get these products stocked when available but at Crediton the have to request them.
    I hope Morrisons don,t value the larger store customers over those of us who use the smaller ones

  • I was in a rush & wanted to buy a tray of sandwiches from the deli counter, in your Greenock store. I know you have to normally give 48hrs notice, however, a young girl on the deli counter called Jaynie dropped what she was doing & I had tray of sandwiches in less than 15 minutes. That’s what I call excellent customer service. Many thanks Jaynie, I hope Managers at Morrisons appreciate your excellent customer service.

  • I had a problem on line explained in store at Alnwick Northumberland the young lady on the help desk shop floor NATASHA was so helpful she made a phone call to customer service and I had the problem sorted in no time and it was no trouble to her she agreed with me that it was not straight forward but she dealt with it very well and did not make me feel silly as the internet sometimes make me a bit muddled ???? she was very caring and kind thank you again great customer service

  • I visit your Liskeard store several times a week! Grahams Gold milk is more often than not missing from the shelves!!
    The staff will alway get some from the store, but it is annoying to have to ask more than 50% of the time!! and wait while it is found.

  • I always shop at Morrisons, and I find that your in-house baked bread extremely good and beats all other major supermarkets. Unfortunately, recently the bread produced at the Walderslade store has not been acceptable. In fact I have gone without my usual Slpit-tin loaf on a few of occasions.
    it Appears they use the wrong baking tins(probably sandwich tin); Do not allow the dough to rise and the result is Longer loaves which are only 10 to 12 cm high and the density of the bread makes it too dry after one day and has to be discarded.
    I have mentioned this to the stores’ management and the bakers, who have all promise to do better. At the beginning of this week they had some very good Split-tin loaves but they had sliced them all and only left ones as describe above. The excuse was it is easier to bag the sliced bread when they are at the correct size!
    I am seriously considering changing to shop at another store if things do not change.
    This store has recently gone down generally throughout the whole store. At one time it was so bad that I thought it was closing down.

  • I was asked to purchase the Daily Mail for someone but the only 2 papers you had were soaked. I took the one which was less wet. At the till, I asked whether there was another dry one but was told no by the lady who was called over to deal with me. I asked whether they could at lease reduce the paper as it was for an OP but she said, unfortunately not. That can’t be done with that article. She added, unfortunately, “they” left the papers out in the rain.

    Well, it should not have been put on display then and it was bad enough for her to let me have it half price at least or for nothing. I paid for it as I did not want to disappoint the old man. Not impressed.

  • I shop at Morrisons in strood rochester Kent .every week Fridays without fail .my husband suffers with lung cancer and when accationaly is well enough to come along with me. Young Lauren Irvin a greeter at main entrance is there with a friendly smile with a sample of cakes or biscuits even takes my husband round to the restaurant and treats him to a pot of tea from here own purce she is so kind with a wonderful smile we look forward to shopping day.   • i have visit your baglan store on Friday,sat.sun.and today to get Tropicana orange and mango the shop has none in fact the shelves are bear and since the new manger and new people have the running of the store their nothing on the shelves
