  • Was in your hobbycraft shop in Inverness, and have never met such nice and helpful staff before in any other shop here.

  • I visited the Blackpool branch today, I love going there and use it all the time.
The staff are extremely helpful and polite, they actually go out of their way to help you. I must say the person there that does all the displays is very talented. The summer display with the tables and chairs, picnic equipment. It all matched in colours and you actually went “Wow” when you looked at it. There Halloween display is equally as good. They should receive a bonus.
Keep up the good work Blackpool it is a pleasure to visit you.

  • I only have one word for it … FAB! there was nice staff and good value. I was on a cheap budget £2 if you will and i had to ask one of the staff for help. I asked a kind lady (who i didn’t quite catch the name of) and she showed me loads of £1 things and £2 things. I ended up deciding on a magnificent sun scratcher which looks beautiful on my window! THANK YOU Hobby Craft you really heped me! :)

  • went yesterday saturay 02/0416 was helped by a lovely young girl nickki, i have a broken ankle and have cruches, she was so kind and not only helped me with my request she also took my purchase to the till and came back to me to see if she could help anything else for me, very polite nothing too much trouble and the same on the end of my transaction good serveice by sharin agin well spoken and polite i ask if they had a customer feed, back it was a pleasure coming to crew store just for these lovely girls (we live in stoke ) keep up the good work girls we will see you soon .

  • I went to Hobbycraft West End, today for some tuition for my new Brother LS14 sewing machine. Debbie showed me how to thread and operate the machine ( which is very different to the ancient model I already have). I was very happy with the way she explained everything to me and now feel confident about trying it out at home. Thank you.

  • I needed a fine marker pen for my patchwork. Instead of browsing all the wonderful things you have on display I asked directions to take me right there. Great friendly staff always ready to help in the Chelmsford store especially Jain who helped me at the check out this week ( I’m recovering from a cataract operation and needed extra help)
    I’ll be back !

  • I visited Hobbycraft at Crown Point in Leeds early one morning. I was wanting to try Aclylic paints for the first time. One member of staff spent quite a while with me helping me make my choice, and made sure I was aware of the money saving available. The cashier was also very cheerful and helpful.

  • The staff in the Hobby craft store both in Altringham and Bolton were helpful and knowledgeable. The spring flower décor on the walls made out of paper was colourful and bright but I found the layout of the Altringham store, although smaller, seemed easier and more customer friendly to find things and they seemed to have more pre-made products on display for inspiration.
When in Bolton, we saw a display of jewellery making, but, this did not inspire me to sit down and join in (and I’m 54), the beads and the style the lady used was old fashioned and did not stimulate me!!!!
Come on Hobby craft!! Get some students who are actually making something modern and fashionable in, that would certainly inspire me to begin this craft and buy your products.

  • Veronica mayoh

  • I went to the Aylesbury Hobbycraft store today, as I had a problem with my Promise sewing machine, which has been going on for over a year. I couldn’t get the stitching right and haven’t used it very much. A very nice lady called Alice, had a look at the machine and got it stitching perfectly, showed me how to wind the bobbin and changed the thread. Bingo !! Thanks very much Alice . ( the machine won’t be going through the window now ) and I have done the job I was trying to do.

  • Hi I like hobbycraft friendly staff good service good care customers
Preston lancashire Deepdale shopping park blackpool road

  • I was at the store on the 18th august, around 5pm were I was ready to leave the goods and walk out.
ellis was on till with Leanne.? there was a big que, don’t mind wating if you see the que going down. BUT NO a customer getting served by ellis, was asking advise about paints he was buying, that’s fine but it took forever. he then left the till to give more information to the customer. I work with the public daily. he should not have left the till he should have rang for someone to come to the till, to replace while he was spending that amount of time with one customer. there were other customers also not amused by this. the young lady on the till was trying to go as fast as she could but was left on her own for a bit . not good at all.

  • Went to monks cross store in Huntington for first time in July, returned with my husband in August, he was delighted to see it for first time and bought a jigsaw of the Queen celebrating 90th birthday. I bought somethings for crafting including material. My email address had been taken down wrongly, Murphy spelt incorrectly, and lovely girl at till Lauren rectified it and now I receive emails. Thanks Lauren.

  • I shop at hobbycraft quite often as I am an avid crafter, the choice of dies, cards, embellishments, papers, ribbons etc is amazing.I do end up spending more than I intended to but it’s all worth it.

  • We were looking for table place name holders and were helped by an assistant called Levi from the Milton Keynes Hobbycraft. When the shop only had 14 of these and we needed 18 he rang the Bedford branch and secured 4 more by visiting that store in his own time and bringing them to MK. I feel he should be rewarded for not only helping but going beyond the cause of duty. Well done Levi

  • My first time in your store you staff are just so helpful polite happy to help n very happy in there work will be going again Sheffield retail park .

  • Christine ELLIOTT

Went to your store today with my daughter Hobbycraft Kingsway Derby just for a look round, as usual I collected several items went to pay and as I have a points card with you gave it to Hannah telling her that I don’t receive any contact from you . She looked in to the matter staight away and found that my name had been spelt wrongly to which she said you should have had a five pound voucherI will give you that now ,so I had a lovely surprise as my bill then came to only £2.00.She dealt with the matter very professionally and fast.

  • Visited your Crayford store yesterday 27th October. All looking very ready for Halloween, even the ladies on the tills were spookily made up and wearing appropriate hats. This visit I only required a few bits and pieces, but also came away with a couple of packets of mixed baby buttons for £1 each, always needed as I knit for Premature babies.

Lots of customers in the store, but you never get the feeling of being over-crowded, which I really appreciate as an older person do not need to be pushed and pummelled about as in some supermarkets,

  • Oh dear I spent far too much but dont regret it. My hobbies are varied jewelery making, card making. knitting and sewing and making ball gowns. The Oxford shop has so many items of interest and I am now having to inclued new hobbies. This shop is perfect and I always find what I require both for me and for my daughters and at Christmas time for presents. My husband and I are also water colour artist and there is a great range of papers, frames and water colours on offer. This is an exciting shop and the layout encourages you to buy. (wow). Kathryn served me today and was extremely helpfull.

  • It is a pleasure to shop in the Hobbycraft stores at Crewe and Bridgemere. It is always service with a smile. Every help that you need along with easy explanations if needed.

  • Hallo. Just a short note to say that I have visited your shop in Harlow yesterday and I wanted to mention two of your staff who were particularly helpful. Margaret and Tracey, many thanks for your help with the elf and father Christmas hats for the kids at the Sawbridgeworth lights-on this weekend.
Always a pleasure to call by.
Once again, many thanks for your help and thoughtfulness. Much appreciated.

  • barbara h baker

In all the years I have shopped at hobby craft I have never, ever received bad service. the staff are always ready to help and though seemingly short staffed they do not allow this to reflect on their customer service. I shopped twice in one hour at meadowhall retail park, served once by Jackie and the second time by Ian. Excellent service from both of them. Well done hobby craft.

  • Had a wonderful time today, looking round your Woking branch. Bought a book of grey drawing paper which is just what I needed and had been on the look out for. Also browsed the card making area and picked up loads of ideas for future projects. Everyone I spoke to were very helpful. THANKS!

  • I have just visited your West End Haskins and was surprised to see how small your bead section is now. I have not visited it recently because the Burgess Road bead shop in Southampton was so good, but now that that bead shop has moved, I think that you are missing a trick not to build up your bead supply again.

  • I did visit Hobbycraft store in Chesterfield on Saturday and as always the staff are
    very helpful.
I was looking for the new range of Xmas ribbons which the assistant took me to the
department, after which she did explain that there was more upstairs and offered
to bring some down for me but I did go upstairs myself to find lots in stock.
I did make my purchase along with items down stairs.
I do always find the store well set out with pleasant staff and love to brows around
as you can always find something different.

The store is in West Worthing, which is so close to where I live, I was served yesterday by Susanne., receipt no. 4280272294,

  • My mom and I always enjoy a walk around hobbycraft in tamworth the colleagues are always so helpful and friendly.

  • Was surprised to see how little selection of beads is available, shame really

  • Very disappointed yet again bought two items at Hobbycraft Imperial Pk and when I got to the check out the prices were more than the price tag on the shelf. This is not the first time that I have had this happen to me. Pricing should be larger and clearer to avoid confusion.

  • Great experience buying crafting gear today. Very knowledgeable and helpful assistance from Michelle.

  • My visit today to your store in Rugby was excellent and I was taken care of my your staff member Louise

  • Was served today by Sunny, in the Milton Keynes shop.
Very helpful, very kind cashier, with a lovely genuine smile.
    Great experience. Thank you.

  • Staff great, and tried to be helpful.
I needed 5 sheets of A1 Formboard ,offer is 4 boards £10-00, 5th board £4-00, why can’t I buy any number of boards ,above 4, at the discounted rate of £2-50 each?
Hobbycraft are not alone in this type of sales ploy.
