  • I came to Bentleywood Farm for a meal with my daughter, grand daughter and son. Our food was amazing, salad cart was well stocked and very clean.
    All staff was lovely and very helpful, but out server Holly was exceptional very attentive and friendly and nothing was to much trouble.

    We chose to go to Harvester at Ryhope Nr Sunderland for lunch today for a birthday treat. Harvester was chosen as it is in a very convenient location.
    On arrival we we unfortunately told that due to a small gas leak in the kitchen there was no food available at that time and could be a few hours.
    On telling the staff it had been a birthday treat, and realising that going elsewhere was out of the question as we had no transport and my elderly mother would be unable to walk to the next closest pub/restaurant, the chef came out to us and told us of a few options to could prepare for us – we were able to have a lovely meal of the rotisserie chicken with mash & vegetables and a wonderful dessert.
    We were served by Santana & Iona who both went out of there way to make the visit enjoyable
    and we were given a 20% discount for the inconvenience.

  • We went to the Falconwood Harvester today and my husband and I had a really lovely meal the staff was very nice we couldn’t fault it.

  • We went to The Weston Gateway Harvester on Sunday 30.10.16. I wanted a special meal for my wife, niece and mother-in-law, and the 4 of us were very pleased with the meal, the service (by Monique) and the cost (me). I was surprised how quickly we were served, in view of how busy the restaurant was. A big “thank you” to all, especially Gavin the line chef.

  • We visited harvester at Meadowhall on 25/10/16 for our daughters 21st birthday, we go a lot for birthdays as usually a really good meal. Unfortunately the last 2 times have been disappointing, food cold chicken not cooked properly, the only good thing about it was the server Dario who was very attentive & polite.

  • The staff are quite rud my daughter ask one of the staff at the salad cart there was no bowls .and she said to my daughter yeah I know .she should have said ok I will get you one not yeah I know this is the first time at this not no more .we got all the time at Langdon hills the crown they are much better with the customer .it was the spur at the moment just done shopping at lakeside very rude at the lakeside harvester not good .mr monk

  • On 15.11.16 we went for a birthday lunch and both chose Signature Fish. It all looked very nice and was hot but the fish was not very tasty nor were the garden peas. The tartare sauce helped to give it some flavour. The fries were nice and crisp. We both chose the Fruit Salad, with ice cream. Again, this looked attractive in a sundae glass. The pieces of fruit were fresh but very large, e.g. a slice off the top of an orange was big enough to almost cover the palm of my hand. There were no forks and it was not easy to try and cut the fruit in a sundae glass. Fortunately, Kris served us very pleasantly though rushed off his feet.
    Shortly before we left we noticed that the ‘stepped’ base of our table, and another one of similar design, was very dirty.
    Somewhat disappointing!

  • went to Harvester Potters Kiln Leisure Way Lowestoft NR32 4TZ 22nd Nov 2016. We were served by Penny very pleasant and well dressed. My wife and I had the combo 83 plus a sweet each and were very pleased. I normally do not like the fries but they were very nice since they have changed them from chunky to french fries. The salad bar was well stocked and clean the dishes and plates were cold for once. it was the best meal we have had for a long time and the service from Penny was excellent thank you!

  • I Visit the Harvester @ Whiteley,once a week, usually on a Thursday @ about 12.15. the menue is compehensive and my chicken is always lovely . My waitress today was Holly and she was her usual friendly and helpful self,perhaps she could help training with some of the other staff.

    Visited the Harvester at Sidcup .The food was excellent and the salad bar was well stocked , great choice .We were served immediately by our waitress Elaine who was very professional and friendly .

  • We frequent The Yeoman and love it, but we have filled in 3 surveys now and each time it says they will send a “thank you” for a starter…we have yet to receive anything! shame the administration isn’t as good as the restaurant and staff!!!

  • I visited the Unicorn Harvester in Main Road, Romford at lunchtime on 20th Dec 2016. There were 5 adults and 9 children, one in a high chair. I have to confess I’ve never been a big fan of Harvester before but the food at the Unicorn was definitely far superior to any other Harvester I’ve visited before. I should also mention that the service that day was absolutely faultless. It was only as we were paying the bill that our waitress (Pat, I believe. The assistant manager. Apologies if I have the name wrong!) told us that she was the only waitress in that day and was working with two staff down. We never noticed a thing as the service was so quick and efficient, with the waitress being helped out by the bar staff.
    If you are looking for a Harvester with good food and even better service, I cannot recommend The Unicorn highly enough.

  • Had lunch in Harveter, Carmarthen today Jan. 4th
    fries were tasteless also so pale and unappetising
    to look at, but the salad bar did not disappoint,
    it was the best part of the meal. The southern fried
    chicken was too spicy. My waitress, Kathy, was very pleasant and efficient.

  • This is my favourite place to eat. Always have nice food and enjoy every time. Only thing letting it down is the pudding choice.

  • We visited the south water restaurant and had 4 all in breakfasts and 4 children’s breakfasts… The service was rubbish the food took an hour and 30 minuites to arrive and when it did arrive the food was almost cold ther were no clean spoons at the tea and coffee station, it was warmer outside than it was sat in the restaurant the waiter but over a breakfast that wasn’t what we orderd the sosauges were Bailey cooked the scrambled egg was like water and the bacon was more like chewing gum than bacon …over all a disappointment will not be going. Again

  • Another very enjoyable visit to Harvester on 21st January 2017. This time to the Hillington, near Glasgow restaurant.
    Great choice of food options – from an extensive menu. The meals my wife and I selected were delicious and still allowed us to stick to our diet plan.
    Salad bar a wonderfully, healthy and delicious idea.

    Good food, good value and very pleasant waitress called Debbie.

  • Michelle from aintree was our waitress and have never been made to feel so welcome I have a diabetic son who also has coeliac and nothing was an issue with her made everything so much easier x I also had my nephew with me who has ADHD and she spoke to him fabulous would recommend going there if Michelle is in thankyou again x

  • An enjoable visit to Harvester at lunch time in Allesley near Coventry on 4th February 2017. We were atended by a lovely young lady called Amy. She was briliant, frendly and extremenly helpfull. Salad bar, Simply Chiken and Oreiginal Combo for lunch. We are going to visit this restuarant again. Amy be there, please. :) :) :) We recomend Harvester in Allesley , Birmingam Road, CV5 9TZ .

  • Our party of 6 adults plus 2 young children went to the Orchard Harvester in Riverfield Drive, Bedford on Sunday 12th. February. We were all most impressed with all aspects of our visit. The menu was very varied and served quickly and the food was hot. Really loved the racks of ribs – so tender and tasty! The salad bar was also very good with lots of different things on offer. Prices were most reasonable, too. Service was excellent with Emmi doing everything she could to make our visit enjoyable. She was very efficient, pleasant and polite in spite of being very busy. She deserves recognition by the company management. We had a great experience and shall be going there again. Thank you.

  • We ,my husband and I took our two young gt grandchildren to the Harvester today 15th February as it was advertised the children eat for £1 as 2 adult meals were ordered,we were very disappointed to find it is not including the sweet.this we find is very misleading and sorry to say we would not have gone if we knew it wasn’t as advertised,perhaps it was in the small print to make people make the same mistake we did,being pensioners we found the

    total bill rather more than we wanted to pay. Regards Mr and Mrs Simpson.

  • Our party just had the best meal and service from Carol H at sea horse alder road Bournemouth. We travelled 4 hours to meet relations. The afternoon was made all the better by warm welcome and stunning service. Pity we don’t live closer so we could use this harvester more.

  • Visited Manchester Printworks Harvester on 28/02. Awful. Steak tough as old boots. Accompaniments inedible. Salad very tired and old. Staff mean and picky about granting our discounts. Won’t be back. Happy to send advice on how to cook a well-done steak without ‘nuking’ it.

  • We were visiting my sister in Kent last week at Harverter Darford Rising Sun . Must say how very helpful the manager was Scottish young man my husband has coeliac disease and him could not of done enough to help us a brilliant manager plus we enjoyed the meal very much

  • Harvester Burton on Trent (Branston). Really poor
    This is our local Harvester and would normally be our first choice but after today I’m really not sure. Took a table of six. The ordering process revealed no salmon, two orders having to go with second choice. The sald bar can only been described as poor. Whilst I appreciate the time of year, there are plenty of other choices the buyers can choose. The main meals turned up first to be told that they had no Bramley apple with the sausage meal and offered an alternative vegetable. Last time I looked an apple was a fruit!!! Would have chosen a different meal, not offered. . When the lady came to order sweets first thing she said was that they have no ice cream. My guests just. Forget it as most are served with ice cream or are sundae based. Also the whole place was cold many comments by other customers, Real shame. Place going down hill.

  • I visited Pontypool Harvester on the 27.03.17 with my parents for my Birthday. The food was very nice and the man called john who served us was very helpful and friendly. For my mam and dad it was there first visit to the Pontypool Harvester and they have told me they can’t wait to go again. I also think your early bird offer now with money off all main meals is very good.

  • We went to Harvester Windmill at Littlehampton yesterday. The food was well cooked and very tasty. My husband had cod and chips and the sundae and I had batteredhalloumi fingers and chips. Again very tasty, not greasy at all. The salad bar was well stocked and the waitress was very very pleasant. We did not have to wait long between courses and the Harvester was not too busy at at. We called in at 21.06 Monday evening.

  • We went to the harvester at Longbridge Island in Warwickshire today Lucy took our order she was polite very well mannered and very cheerful. She came back to see if everything was fine with our order and to see if we required another pot of tea. We didn’t feel rushed in any way and when we went to pay the young man on the bar was also very polite although I forgot his name,but he was the only one behind the bar. We will definitely be returning.

  • Both my Daughter and myself booked a table at the Five Bells Harvester Stanford-Le-Hope in Essex on Mothering Sunday. Our table was booked for 1.30pm. However, the extremely courteous and polite Manager namely Adam, told us that they were very behind because their Grill had broken down one and half hours earlier, and that the other Harvester located nearby in Laindon was closed for the day. Therefore they were over run with not only extra people, but very behind because of the Grill. Adam said he would call us when our table was ready. However, over one and a half hours later, and a couple of drinks, our table was finally ready. Adam told us with his profuse apologies, that under the circumstances he would like to give us a “free” dessert of our choice in compensation, which we kindly accepted. This Manager was under extreme stress and pressure from the various guests, but he still remained calm, courteous, polite and respectful. Thank You Adam from Mrs Gloria Lee and Daughter for making our afternoon a very pleasurable one.

    Was at Broxden Manor Harvester for breakfast on 3 mornings and a birthday dinner on 1 evening. All very good , managers and all staff were very helpful, polite and smart.We had a good time and will definately be going back again soon. Just a shame we live so far away from Perth else would use on a more regular basis.

  • This is the third time I have visited the Harvester in Edgware since it has been renovated and each time I have had cause for complaint. It seems that the chefs just put on the plate what they think they can get away with and are not interested at all in the standard to which it has been cooked.

    The first time the fried cod had very little fish which was covered in huge amounts of batter – it could have been called fried batter actually. My sister had the half spit roast chicken which was more bone than chicken and today the grilled chicken was like rubber and completely overcooked and which I had to ask to be replaced. Also the salads and the dressings were unlabelled so it was impossible to know which was which. I mentioned this at the time and they said the labels don’t stay on. Also we had a starter of king prawns at a price of £4.95 which consisted of 4 tiny scampi prawns swimming in a sauce!!

    However up to this time we had been regular visitors to our local Harvester where we felt we received very good value for money and labels had stayed on the dressings! Now the prices have doubled in some cases and the quality very poor. I feel all the money has gone into renovations and left very little for the thing that counts – the quality and cooking of the food. I am sorry that it has been necessary to put such a post on line.

  • Visited the Dog Harvester in Henley Road Redditch . Shown to our table quiet until other people arrived they were all shown to the tables around us . There was empty places all over why put people in the same area , surely you should be able to sit wherever . Meal arrived quickly after ordering and was very enjoyable

    It’s Been a while since we visited this establishment when it was known as the Otterspool, Liverpool L17 5AL, it really had been going down hill for a while.
    Upon our visit yesterday (Sunday 7th May 2017), it is now a ‘Harvester’ under a new management team and in the hands of a lovely lady called Jackie. The improvements already visible e.g. No food served outside which already looked tidier because there was no plates left on tables, and so the management of staff could solely concentrate on the quality of service and food to the customers eating within their premises. Still a beautiful location, and dog friendly spot to responsible pet owners and families. Still able to order and take drinks outside keeps things in a better order being more organised that there’s no doubt that ‘Jackie’ appears to have a schedule that’s working that will give ‘old and new customers’ a better quality of service than when under its old management.
    Also important, in my group there are 2 disabled adults and was good to see that the Management were operating the universal Radar key scheme, meaning that the toilet wasn’t open to ‘everyone’!
    You do have to ask a member of staff for the key, and either they’ll open it for you or hand you the key but it also has a baby changing facility in the same toilet.
    Definitely worth a visit to this NEW Harvester run Management team, and being a little patient to allow their positive changes to take affect, I look forward to going again as it’s affordable and there are vegetarians and a vegan in our family, with a nice bill of fare to try!
    Good luck to Jackie and her Management team and I’m sure that their hard work will pay off and that us Customers give them that chance to give us a better service!

  • It was our second visit to The Barn at Chichester. Cindy was our waitress on both occasions and we found her very friendly, super efficient and the service was spot on! It’s such great value for money and the food is always tasty and you don’t have to wait long for it either. I would highly recommend it to families especially and with a 20% discount, as I work at the local Sainsbury’s it is well worth it. A great all round experience.

    Good well cooked meal accompanied by excellent salad. Very reasonably priced and very attentive staff whose name was Kim. Well recommended and going again next week.

  • Visited the harvester Ashford, Kent on 7th July. Booked for noon eventually, after trolling through the online booking system which was useless and time wasting, I eventually phoned, got through immediately, spoke to a charming lady named Rhiannon who sorted us out immediately and efficiently. When we got there the service at reception was good. When we sat down the food was excellent but the thing which really made it an occasion for self and wife was our waitress, by coincidence the charming, bubbly and very obliging Rhiannon. Cannot praise her efforts too much. Will be back.

    went to St Johns Harvester today,was ignored by the waitress designated to my area for about 15 minutes,the salad bar was missing lots of usually available items.Then there was an incident where all the items had to be removed and replaced with fresh salads.Didn’t have access to the salad bar until I almost finished my main meal; when the dishes where brought out of the kitchen,most of them still had food residues on it;it was appalling! Even though the shift manager took fully charge and tried hard to rectify all the mishaps,I feel he was badly let down by his staff on the shift.

  • Visited the Derwyn at Sarn today to celebrate our Sixtyforth Wedding Aniversary and received our usual cautious welcome. Our food was at its usual acceptable standard but we wish commend our waitress Janine for the most outstanding service and friendliness looking after us

  • Went to the local Harvester in Romford on Sunday 6th August for my parent’s wedding anniversary (my treat to them). Our waitress was Olivia, who was excellent: prompt, friendly and polite. Meals were fine but for the steak I ordered – so gristly and fatty I only managed to eat half of it! It was a bit too under-done as well. We did get a free desert for my disappointment so this restaurant still gets a thumbs up overall. Will go again, but probably will try something else on the menu next time…

  • Visited today for lunch, place was busy but nothing was too much trouble for Sylvia the waitress. Salad bar was well stocked with a good variety, main meals arrived promptly, piping hot and cooked to perfection. Will definitely be visiting again.

  • Visited Three Pots Hinckley received excellent service again. Nothing too much trouble. Nadia (server)Showed concern re dietary requirements and made the experience all the more enjoyable.

  • Was served today by Leah for our twin daughters birthday.. welcomed by a warm friendly smile and attitude, Leah was regularly checking our food was ok and if we needed anything (which we did) was more than happy to help with our girls little mess which we offered to clear up but she was very approachable friendly and professional the whole time

  • Visited the Warwick Harvester as it was close to our overnight accommodation. Booked for 7.30 p.m. and was shown to a table that had still to be cleared. Waited 30 minutes before our order was taken and a further hour before the food arrived. It was overcooked, dry, tough, rubbery and cold and when we complained the waiter simply said “Sorry, but we’re very busy”. This establishment needs lots more staff and some decent chefs in the kitchen. We will not be back.

  • We went for breakfast last Friday morn, for the first time to the “Harvester Fountain” in Milton Keynes. The waitress on duty was superb. Very helpful and with a great sense of humour. The food was excellent and the coffee piping hot. This Harvester is a great improvement on the one in Central MK which I patronised for years. However, from the time that your company has announced it’s closure the quality of food has plummeted. Surprisingly the waitresses still continued to their high standards. I shall now frequent regularly our “new” discovery.

  • My family and I have visited The Dog Harvester in Studley for the past decade or so and enjoy not only the food but the staff in particular Sylvia, just the week before last MOAOrderPad 1598 on August 18th 2017 and to be honest Sylvia, makes us most welcome every time we visit and always greets us by name and with that amazing smile !
    We will be back for sure !

  • Just to let you know that the service was good and the best thing I liked about the Harvester is the unlimited salad bar and I was with my Mum and her husband, they just got back from dropping some friends off, so we decided to have some dinner at the Harvester. I arrived there at 17.10, on a Bank Holiday Monday 28th August, it was the day before my Mums Birthday. We all enjoyed it.

    If I have one other little comment. I was at the Salad Bar and I had not been for a while and they had moved all the condiments to the opposite side, I automatically thought that the sauces on the top of the Salad Bar was the ones for the Salad I was just about to open one, then I saw the notice to say that you were selling the bottled sauces. I did in the end manage to find the condiments and the bread rolls.

    The lady that served us her name was Jen. She was very good and very friendly.

  • Yesterday we visited your newley refurbished Morfa Parc Havester, Swansea, and were very disappointed at the service received. After waiting for almost five minutes for someone to appear to take us to our table, we were approached by a member of staff who greeted us without a smile. The food was lovely but the atmosphere cold. We paid £45.40, by Visa Debit and left. On checking the receipt we found that we had been charged for 6 refillable drinks, but there were only three of us, and the overcharge was £8.75. The name on the bill was Sassy, our table No. was 16. The payment was in the name of J. C. Thomas. We realise this was probably an error due to the inexperience of the staff, who looked very young and unsure. But the whole experience was not good and we will be reluctant to visit again.

  • Visited Harvester, Kingswood Hull on Sun, 10 Sept 2017 with family. We had a late lunch in a relaxing environment. (just what I need when having a headache!) Emma is our waitress, who is calm, friendly and helpful and Mike is the chef. The salad bar was clean and tidy with good fresh choices. Our smoky pork ribs and Pork belly were delicious and tender, but the fish was a bit overcooked. The rice was tasty though! Thank you.

  • My husband and I were staying in Salisbury at the weekend and knowing how busy the Old Castle Harvester got booked a table for 7.30pm. We arrived early for a drink, and I told the front of house we had arrived and were having a drink at 8pm we were still in the bar ! What was the point of booking ? When we did get a table and ordered there was quite a long wait for the food. The food was good when it arrived and the waiter very pleasant asking if everything was ok

  • We often go to the Harvester , but Riverside inn in Christchurch Dorset is a really a special restaurant. Lisa is very sweet , as are all the staff .
    And the meal and salad bar are very good … a great time every time we go … also a lovely meal so thank you

  • We visited the Wheatsheaf harvester Station road Coleshill thursday lunchtime for a pleasant dining experience. The staff were very friendly especially Jo the waitress ref ZA57797-POS-03
